Short answer: hipages and MissedCalls do different jobs. hipages is a marketplace that finds you new customers, for a monthly plan plus credits for each lead, and each lead can go to up to three businesses. MissedCalls doesn't sell leads. It turns the people who already find you on Google, your website and social pages into booked jobs and quote requests, for a flat monthly fee from $29, with no per-lead costs and no lock-in contract.
If you rely on hipages because customers can't find you anywhere else, MissedCalls won't replace that overnight. If you already get enquiries and want to stop paying per lead for more of them, it's a cheaper way to win the work.
Prices last checked 3 November 2026. hipages changes its plans from time to time, so check their site for current pricing.

How hipages works
You choose a monthly plan. Each plan includes a set number of credits, and you spend credits to accept a job lead. The number of credits a lead costs isn't fixed. It moves with your trade, location, the size of the job and demand. Each job can go to up to three businesses, so you're often one of several quotes.
hipages' published plans are Starter $139, Advanced $249, Premium $449 and Platinum $649 a month plus GST, with more credits on the higher plans. If you run out of credits during the month, you can buy more.
The fair way to judge any lead source is cost per job won, not cost per lead:
Cost per job won = what you spend in a month ÷ jobs you win that month
For example, if you spend $300 in a month and win 3 jobs from those leads, each job cost you $100 to win. Work it out with your own numbers before deciding whether it's worth it.
How MissedCalls works
MissedCalls gives you a branded quote and booking form that goes on your Google Business Profile, your website, your Facebook and Instagram pages, or any link you share. Customers tap through the job, add photos, and book a time or request a quote. You get an instant alert on your phone in the Lead Inbox app.
- Basic, $29 a month: enquiry form with photos and your questions, plus the Lead Inbox app
- Standard, $79 a month: adds online bookings with real availability, deposits, confirmations and reminders
- Premium, $129 a month: adds automatic quote follow-ups, invoice reminders, Google review requests and service reminders
It's set up for you, with no setup fee and no lock-in contract. See pricing for full details.
What it doesn't do is bring you new customers from a marketplace. It helps you win more of the customers who already look you up.
When hipages is the better choice
Be honest with yourself here. hipages can make sense when:
- You're brand new and have no Google reviews, website or word of mouth yet, and you need work this week
- Your jobs are high value, so the lead cost is a small slice of each invoice
- You have spare capacity and can afford to quote jobs you may not win
When MissedCalls is the better choice
MissedCalls makes more sense when:
- Customers already find you on Google, through your website or by word of mouth, but some slip through because you're on the tools
- You're tired of paying for leads that go to other businesses too
- You want a flat, predictable cost with no credits and no lock-in
- You want your reviews and customer list in your own Google profile and inbox, not on someone else's platform
Using both while you move away from paid leads
You don't have to choose on day one. Plenty of businesses keep a lead platform running while they build their own pipeline, then cut back once their own enquiries cover it.
- Get your Google Business Profile in shape. Check it with our free Google profile check.
- Add a booking button to your Google profile so customers can book without calling. Here's how to add a Book Online button.
- Ask every happy customer for a Google review. Reviews help you show up higher in Google Maps.
- Put the same form link everywhere: your website, Facebook, Instagram, quotes and invoices.
- Track where your jobs come from each month, and reduce your lead platform plan as your own enquiries grow.
